Jeremy+Maggie.1Jeremy Davy is an 18-year veteran police officer who started his career in law enforcement with the US Coast Guard in 1990. He served 11 years active duty and two years reserve. Jeremy’s duty stations include the USCG Cutter Mellon, USCG Cutter Morgenthau, and the USCG Tactical Law Enforcement Team South. In 1991, Jeremy was a member of the USCGC Mellon when the Mellon was invited to celebrate the Maritime Border Guard’s 73rd anniversary in Vladivostok USSR.

In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, Jeremy was recalled to active duty with Tactical Law Enforcement Team South and tasked with providing security zone enforcement around the World Trade Center and New York City Harbor.

In 2000 Jeremy left active duty with the Coast Guard and joined the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office of the Florida Keys. He started his career as a deputy working patrol in the City of Marathon.

In 2003, Jeremy transferred to the Lower Florida Keys where he became a general crimes detective and an assistant crime scene investigator. Jeremy joined the swat team and eventually rose to the rank of assistant team leader.

In 2007, Jeremy was promoted to sergeant and was assigned back to patrol in the Lower Florida Keys.

In 2008, Jeremy left the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and joined a large metropolitan Sheriff’s Office in his home state of Washington where he currently works as a patrol deputy for a small contract city.

In 2010, Jeremy met his wife – Maggie – a 911 Dispatcher. Jeremy and Maggie were married in Key West in 2013. They spend their free time traveling, paddle boarding, socializing, and writing.
